Septocular is an interactive lamp that responds to the proximity of objects (humans) in front of it. When a person is within ~13 feet of Septocular, the seven lens-lamps react. As a person nears Septocular, the rhythm of the light becomes calm and less agitated. The overall design is heavily influenced by architecture and classic mid-century modern design. Septocular was accepted for exhibit at the 2018 National Design In Wood Exhibition at the San Diego County Fair.
