I'm not sure what to call this thing — it's a bespoke, tiny sculpture, thingy or an LED gizmo of some sort. It has an urbran high-rise vibe. I pierced the holes in copper then soldered together an open-ended 'box' that contains a flat LED backlight and an orange photography gel between it and the pierced copper. An additional LED shines through a red acrylic rod that is flush on the front face of the walnut base. There is a coin battery holder on the back with an on/off switch. A small part from a vintage camera adorns the front and also helps hold the copper box in place. The copper will patina over time — this should give more contrast to the orange light coming from inside the copper box.
