Shallot, 2026

Shallot, 2026

Cast: 7.75 x 1.25 in (19.68 x 3.17 cm)
Framed: 10.6 x ~3 in (26.9 x ~7.62 cm)

Found objects (camera parts, watch parts, electronics, transformer wire), pressure-cast urethane resin, stained mdf, custom aluminum brackets, hardware.

This piece represents our orange cat, Shallot. When he gets hungry during the day, he’ll sit and stare through the glass on the shop door until I notice him. He then begins pawing at the door until I open it.
